How do you replace, or fix, rusting drip edge on a home roof?

The drip edges on my roof are rusting. Do I repaint them?
How do you replace them without removing the asphalt shingles.

Have you thought about installing rain gutters? -

They have a spray paint that neutralizes the rust. I'd use that first. It's a flat green color, then paint them with spray paint of your choice, or regular paint. I'd use spray paint, no streaking that way.
