Black specks after flushing water pump, why?
Flushed out water pump used with our well because we had lower water pressure. After had good water pressure in the house. The outside faucet was used to fill pool up to 3". Found black specks, looks like black sand in the pool. We did not have an issue with black specks/sand before we flushed out the water pump. What can be done to correct the problem?

Hi Lisa,
You question has appeared 3 times, you might want to consider removing 2 of them.
It's probably corrosion in your pipes.
I agree with Ann its probably a bit of corrosion in your pipes that got stuck in the pump. Now that its flushed out it should clear up by itself. If it continues though or, especially, if it worsens I would call a well company to come get a look at it.

Thank you for your responses.
Most likely it is sediments that have now been released and pushed through because of the pressure change on the pump flush. This should disappear over time.
