How do I declog a clogged drain outside of my basement door?
the house is a historic property, basement door exists into the garden, no stairs involved. I am afraid with bad rains, this can cause major problems.😟

You’ll have to pull out everything you can by hand. This is going to be grueling.
If the drain is original to the house, this is a no-win situation, as you probably can’t “snake” down as far as you need to and the clay tile are broken and full of tree roots.
You may have to have it excavated a replaced with PVC.
See if the City will give you some money to do this right.
