How do I fix a hole around shower taps?
I had a plumbing job done in the pipes and it left me with a square hole on the wall around the shower head taps. Please suggest any hacks to cover this
Call the manufacturer and they will give you a free handle. Moen is the best, but cry the blues when you call them.
I just replaced mine. They were surprisingly inexpensive .

That is just a plastic/nylon insert made for the handles to slip over and allen screw to hold the handle on. Remove the screw and the insert just pops out. You can buy replacement inserts at Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards. Make sure you take the handle and insert so they can match it up with what you have. All kinds of configurations and styles for different faucet handles.
Replace it take it to hardware store and they should be able to match something up for you
