Toilet- sounds like water running in the tank every half hour or so!

Sounds like water running in the tank about every hour for about 20 seconds.Not sure if it's a leak or what but very annoying.

Oh, I know exactly what you've got going on. This is classic.You need to replace the flapper in your toilet. Guy at the hardware store will know exactly what you need. Flapper is the flush valve. Lets lots of water go when you push the handle then drops down to close the opening and refill the tank.Yours is leaking a little when it's shut. As soon as the water level goes low enough the float valve lets more water in to keep the tank full.Cheap and easy repair. Minimal or no tools needed. Then you can say with pride that you did it yourself. -
