How do I remove an iron scorch on nylon?
It is an iron scorch, got most of the brown color out, but the shiny remains. How do I remove the shiny part??

Gently scuff with a green kitchen scrubby or 220 grit sandpaper.
Melted plastic is going to be weaker plastic too.
Try wet/dry sand paper & sand it in a pan of water.
Where is the nylon? Sometimes, depending on the thickness of the fabric, shine can unfortunately be permanent. Nylon is a synthetic fabric that generally has a low tolerance to direct heat from an iron surface.

I would try some fine grit sand paper when it is wet but that's a tough one! Good luck!
Nylon melts under heat so the shiny residue is probably a result of the melting and cannot be repaired.
