How to fix my cracker barrel solar powered mason jars?
I have done extensive research on how to fix my solar powered Cracker Barrel mason jars but to no avail. I bought several of these years ago and rather expensive at 25 dollars a jar. Problem is they don't like the rain and the ones I had in the sun that got rained on had the mirror affect almost completely dissolve and I am trying to see how to fix them. Since then the ones that didn't get ruined by the rain I am only using inside now using regular AA batteries.

If you're hoping to use regular batteries with solar lights, that, unfortunately, won't work. To repair the mirror glass look inside you can buy mirror glass spray paint and use that to fix it
Regular batteries won't last long like rechargeable batteries. Strip the mirror effect off the jars. Spray Rustoleum mirror effects or Krylon looking glass spray paint on the inside.
Why don't you try just getting new solar lids: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=mason+jar+solar+light+lids&crid=3L2V5G098B6IG&sprefix=mason+jar+solar+%2Caps%2C248&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_3_16
Hello. I have had luck when with battery replacement to exactly match the one removed
I really think that regular batteries would not really work. Take a look inside and use glass spray paint for it.
have the krylon mirror paint but its in a spray can so how to do it without it running all over the inside and also how to get /duplicate some type of design with holes in it i can use for the inside before spraying?
You could try calling Cracker Barrel and speaking to the manager about getting them replaced for free. Some stores will do that out of kindness, especially if they didn't last long and should have. It is worth a try.

You might try replacing them with collar store solar lights.
go online and search for solar batteries. I bought some for my solar lights that I put on my fence. Take the mirror effect off with acetone and respray with Rustoleum or Krylon.
Rustoleum make that spray mercury look paint. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXGsLKOTQU0 Then I would look for some yard solar lights that you might be able to remove the solar panel to replace the ones on your jars. You could use mirror spray paint and put tape on the areas you don't want the paint to get on
I paint glass all the time with spray paint and I never have drips. It's really all about using the right spray paint. Make sure it's made for glass. Also you can check out this article. https://homeguides.sfgate.com/spray-painting-drips-81422.html
You can buy solar jar lids at Michaels.
You can buy mirror effect spray paint to restore the look of that one. You may have to remove the finish that is there already. You can make a new solar light top if you need to by replacing it with a mason jar lid and a dollar store solar light, it fits perfectly! https://www.homeroad.net/2022/04/diy-outdoor-solar-lights.html#more
Call who every made these and ask them but I really don't think regular batteries are a good fit for this job.
