Cover them with the plastic window kits for winter.
Adjust your house humidity tono more than 40%. As temps drop, percentage will need adjusted.
Run exhaust fans when cooking and showering (and for at least 20 min. after showers. Wipe down bathroom walls. Launder towels more frequently.
Reduce number of indoor potted plants, especially near windows.
If windows have screens, move them to the basement during winter.
