If it is just a screw hole I'd use painters caulk or spackling(either one about $3), fill the hole, sand and paint.Easy fix.Helpful Reply -

If it needs to be waterproof, maybe go with an auto-body filler like Bondo. Otherwise go with what you have!Helpful Reply -
