How can I cover very ugly brick steps?
What is the best material to use to cover a very ugly brick steps? The bricks have been cleaned and repointed. Should I consider fiberglass impregnated stucco that will it hold up?

What about stone veneers? They are natural stone pieces that have been cut to thin slices. Or to give the brick that you already have a new look have you consider staining it?
Stucco is basically for walls. I doubt it will hold up on stairs. Use a concrete self leveling compound.

That is what leveling compound is. Acrylic latex modified concrete.
