Can I cover penny tiles in my bathroom without removing them?
My bathroom floor has ceramic penny tiles, I would like to redo the floor but don't want to have to remove them. Is there anything I can cover them with?
What is the substrate under the tile. If it's cement board you would use thinset. If it's plywood use tile mastic. Make sure you grout and seal the grout.
We have used a product called Liquid Nails to build our fire pit. It is concrete pavers. I also built a surround for my mailbox out of brick. The liquid nails has held great, through all kinds of weather. I think it would probably work for tile as well. You might want to experiment with a small amount to see . Just be sure the surface is clean when you apply. Happy tiling, oh it sets up quickly so work fast.
