Any ideas to repurpose an old(single size) steel box spring.

This box spring is way old. It has the longer style slats(very thin) and SHARP. It is silver in color and is stamped Seally Mattress Company. I've used one in the garden for my running plants(peas etc.) it's working awesome and it looks great. Have one left and not an idea. Thanks
Its quite blurry, it gives you the gen. idea.

I don't know, never done this myself, but what about hanging old shoes or tin cans and plant flowers in some or let birds use for birds nests?

i bought bedspring trees at a craft show recently and will giveaway as gifts. The crafter cut the bedsprings from the bed. So you have the individual spiral, she decorated the spirals with Christmas decor: greenery here and there and small red balls. Really any leftovers would do. She cut out a star for the top, made from leather, she also used some material scrapes for stars too. She just hot glued it all on . Simple and fast!

Use it as a partition in an area where you can grow vines on it. Like along a walkway to seclude an area for a sitting space. Lay it length wise if that works best and use metal stakes to keep it upright. Wild sweet peas would be great in a sunny spot. You could tie tall plants, like delphinium or oriental lilies, to it and let them mingle.
