Any way to recycle kitty litter or cat food buckets ?

    cut down about 1/3 of the circle.... approximately 4 - 6 inches from the top. Cup and cover a plywood circle with a cushioned side up. Add a brace under the plywood to hold the seat up, and VIOLA - a really cute kid's chair!

    Hi Tina! Where did you find 'round' cat food buckets? The only ones I've ever seen are squarish or rectangle...

    I haven't had to buy cat litter in quite a while, but I used to get round buckets. My Dad and Mom made the little chairs out of them. You could also use the square buckets to make the chairs.... just cut away one side and then angle cut the adjacent sides back about half way,

    Kitty litter should not be recycled given the bacteria it captures. The food buckets could be used by many different agencies. Contact your local school or plant store to see if they can use them.

    I use the containers to hold potting soil and tools. With the handle they are easy to carry and stack to store.
