There are so many fun things you can do! You can use them for tea lights ( decorate them with whatever you'd like- rope, glitter, ect) Here are a lot of great ideas https//www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/rooms/q-candle-jar-lids-15343097 Have fun!
What to do with candle jar lids
I don't have any suggestions, but I'm liking the ones posted! Hadn't thought to ask on here :-)
They are great in the sewing or craft room for pins, buttons, beads, etc.
I turn them upside down and just put in a votive candle.
I put tea light candles in them . when you can't use the fire ones , put the battery ones in .
I found that some of them can be used for coasters
I've found unique metal cylinders that I've glued onto the bottom/inside of the lid after I removed the plastic ring. It makes a beautiful place to drop a votive candle that's in a small glass container inside of.
Snow globes or a place for a small keepsakes. A paper weight with small rocks, sand, small shells. A planter for a succulent.
most of them fit wide mouth mason jars ... which i use to store some of my dry goods...gives my pantry a more classy look.
Save the jar the candle was in. After the last of the candle has burned, wash and put candy in it, put the top back on, tie a ribbon around it and give to someone.
Great idea! Thank you !
Excellent ideas!!
This will sound crazy at first hearing...I have used them as snowmen hats. A couple of years ago I made a snowman and snow lady out of glass Christmas bulb/globe ornaments (balls). The ornaments were silver glass and graduated in size, of course. I placed the bottom globe in a glass coaster for a secure balance and glued everything together. I was fine until it came time for the hats. For the snowman, I glued a shot glass onto a glass disc originally meant for a candle. For the snowlady, however, I used the top of a candle jar. It was perfect because it was rounded and had more of a bonnet look to it.
A weight for helium balloons for a floor display as well as keeping them out of your way while transporting them.
Either tie them around the lid or turn the lid upside down and put an eye screw or hook into the plastic seal as a tie down anchor.
I bet it's adorable! I will have to try that! Thanks!
The candy like M&M's would add color as well.
Tie a ribbon around plastic part, turn upside down and use on bathroom countertops for hair pins, earrings, rings, cotton balls or any you don't want to go down the drain. Depending on your soap dispenser, some bottles fit inside the glass cap and will prevent soap bottle from falling over when your soap is running out.
Love all the great ideas!
