What material is the column made out of, and how heavy is it?
Place it in a corner as a decorative/architectural piece. Add some other things around it - a table, plant, etc.
It would make a good plant stand if stable enough not to tip over. Also a unique artpiece might look nice, or simply add it to your room as a statement piece.
You could paint it and put it in the garden and make it a lamp post, or place a bird feeder on top, etc. OR cut it in half and put plants in pots on top of it.
can you please post a picture so we can see what it is made of, how wide it is. And is the column heavy. I would probably put it in a garden or a patio
you could use it on your porch or patio or you could use in a kitchen it just depends on your preferences

I added two boards glued together and painted on the bottom, one on the top stained and added a planter to the top.
Hello. You could repurpose it into an architectural interest piece or potentially make it into plant stands.
It could be a plant stand since it's just over 4', perhaps for a large arrangement or fern.
You could add a tall thin lamp and make it similar to a torchiere style lamp.
If you're going to have it standing in a room unsupported, you may want to weight it down somehow. If it has a bottom you could add a sandbag, sand or cement. If not, you could create a bottom for it and add a sandbag. This way it won't tip over.

Add a tray (Upside down) or table top and then display Ornament or Plant. Fil with Concrete and use in garden. (Use Spray foam and wire to make a tree Cut it in half make Two Garden Plant Stands. Slice it up and pop over flower pots. or fit bottoms to make Plant Pot Holders
Hi, Cut it in half and make two legs for table or slice in half lengthways and apply to a wall as a feature. Make pedestals to put planters on?
