How do you make use of a queen size “feather bed” no longer wanted

I have a queen size feather bed that goes under the sheet on top of the bed. I can just donate it to a charity, but I wonder if anyone has ideas as to how I might recycle it into something useable and different. There are such clever ideas posted here, I was wondering......

The first idea that pops into my head is pillows. You could probably make a few out of it.
Or cut in half (messy!) And make two throws out of them. Make duvet covers. Perfect for chilly nights curled up in a chair or sofa reading or movie watching.
I would think you could repurpose it as a large lounging pillow. I would fold it to the size you want and make a cover for it ! ***Tip : if might be cheaper to buy a flat sheet in a nice color or pattern than to buy yards of material .
