How do I make plastic yarn from grocery bags?

Plarn is considered to be plastic bag yarn. There are many different methods online but this one seems to be very detailed and simplest. Good luck and have fun!

Cut the bottom and the handles off a carrier bag. Then make the bag flat. Cut up the bag until you are 2.5cm from a folded edge. Keep doing this until you come to the end. These strips should be even width approx 2 cm. Then open the bag until you have the uncut edge before you.

Cut diagonally across from one to the next strip, this will give you a continuous strip that you can then use to weave, crochet and knit.
