Instructions for building a bookcase out of old encyclopedias

Would about just adhearing just the covers of the encyclopedias to the outside of a bookshelve. Then put a coat of modgepodge on encycloped to protect it.

My dad built my mom one by using blocks of wood at ends and the laying a board across. He used different stacks of blocks for different size shelves. Substitute your books for blocks. To keep it steady, he built it between a corner and a window facing. the facing and the wall served as end boards. I guess you could glue your books together and then glue board to book it necessary. It was very moveable.
