U Channels for a horizontal fence, suggestions? Need Ideas!

Hello- I’m looking for metal u channels that I could attach to block posts so that I can run 1” boards horizontal to make a fence. Any ideas of existing companies or what I could use? Channels need to be probably at least 3/4 to 1 inch deep to hold boards if they shrink.

What you are looking for is called C channel. The big box stores carry it or it can be ordered online. Check with your smaller local lumber yard or construction supply house. They may be able to give you more ideas.
