What are some beginner uses to re-purpose on old crib?

It is a solid oak (outdated) with a drop down hinged front. It can be made into a day bed and with added rails - a double size bed. None of these I really need at the moment so was hoping for other ideas, thanks.

It can be made into a drying rack for laundry, a bike rack for the kiddos, or even a porch swing!Helpful Reply -

Lower the crib by cutting the legs down to about a foot. Remove one crib side. Add a mattress and use it as a 3-sided reading nook/"Junior Loveseat".Helpful Reply -
