Hi Susan, You could put a top on it and use it as an end table or even a desk. I like the idea of a wooden top. Even a raw edge would be great. I recommend that you look thru the table department of your local furniture stores. Find one that you really like. Take a couple pictures of it. Then try to recreate it on your iron base.

Sure made me miss my old treadle sewing machine.... I made a Teepee on it back in the 60s.
Make a hall or side table. Use wood or glass as a top. I had one and. finally gave it to a friend after she begged for a couple of years. I see them in antique store at times.
How about using it as a unique side table?
