I crochet two round hot padds with cotton yarn (not thread). Then I place the CD in the middle and crochet them together. They make great trivets for your bowls and casseroles. If you scrapbook, you can decorate the CD to use onscrapbook pages. You can also decorate them and mail to friends as greeting cards. Drill holes in them and hang several together at different lengths from a dowel, twig, etc for a suncatc. You can hang them from your porch, from a tree or place in your garden.
That should have been sun catcher.
If you are (or know) a woodworker, they can be put in to a stack of dado blades to customize the width of the cut. They can be hung in fruit trees a berry canes to flash lights at birds to scare them away from the fruit. They make temporary coasters for drinks. You can put them under the feet or bottom edge of furniture you are painting or staining to protect the floor or workbench. I also use cheap (or recycled) tile squares for this I would NOT use them as mini-Frisbees.
outstanding suggestions thx
