Get a pro camera … small and functional
Measure the depth of the door and buy a viewer to accommodate the depth. I have only seen them in the center but think you can put it anywhere as long as it’s not too close to the edge of the door where the inside structure is. Viewers will have instructions.
We have the Arlo cameras, but for some, the peephole is a much cheaper and still safer choice! One may not always have access to turning their camera(s) on quickly enough, or if it's a child, elderly, and/or handicapped person, the peephole is a quick fix to see if someone is beyond the door. AND, if the cameras are off line (per the website), the peephole will ALWAYS work! Good luck and Stay Safe!
