How can I cover this window?
What can put over this window from keeping the sun from shining in because it shows up on the television and the television can’t be moved to another wall. I don’t think they make curtains for this shape and I don’t sew.

You could make a cardboard cutout the shape of the window and push it into the space. You could cover the cardboard with fabric by using spray on glue or try some contac paper to make it more decorative.
You can get a custom blind / shade made. Not cheap.
You can also get a blind the width & length of widest part of window place a nice valance shelf over to hide blind when pulled up.
Or make a cutout of the window decorate both sides put hinges on attach to window. Swing open or closed as needed.
I used “Gallery Glass”. Right out of the bottle, small wiggly lines in bunches to make it translucent. You can use a dark color to block the sun. Consider a pattern with other colors (monogram, etc) to make it more interesting.
make a pattern and use foam sheet used for packing. Very cheap
have you tried putting bubbe wrap on each section of the window. Does it shield the sun enough? you attach the bubble wrap by just wetting the window and sticking the wrap onto the glass.
I would cut a piece of thin wood the exact size of the window then hinge the top and prop up with wood like an awning
I would make a panel to fit inside the frame using foamcore board. To make a templet I would attach some ridgid paper, like poster board. Find the horizontal center of the window. Attach the posterboard's edge across the center with painter's tape and reach inside with a short pencil and trace the shape, then cut it out. Draw a centerline on your foamcore and line up the templet across the centerline and trace the shape. Then flip the templet to the other side of the centerline, line up your edges and trace again. Before you cut out your foamcore octagon measure the finished size of the tracings. You will want a snug fit to hold everything in place. Use an Exacto or razor knife with a straight edge to cut out your foamcore board. Use spray adhesive to attach fabric over the board or cover it with Contac paper, or install it plain (pencil marks removed). Near the bottom, I would add a light-weight drawer pull with a large washer added to the back, that will help when you want to remove the cover.
I have done this and just covered it with clear paper so that the sun can still come through but yet it will provide you with some wonderful designs. There are different films you can buy. Amazon has them as well as Home Depot or any craft store. Good luck to you.
I had this same type of window, but with clear glass, in a door. I bought curtain rods for french doors, and placed one rod at top and one at bottom of the window, with a white curtain shirred top and bottom onto the rods so light could get through, but prying eyes couldn't.
You could also get an accordion pleated shade, they come in various colors with light-blocking styles, too. Some have no messy-looking strings, just lift by a tiny handle on the bottom rail. When the TV's off, just lift the shade and let the light in.

You could create a cover this shape from cardboard boxes. Just take all the measurements and create a shallow box to fit, then you could paint, stencil, or cover the box with beautiful fabric and the window becomes decorative artwork an will block the sun reflections.
