How can I block sun and heat from my windows?
I have 6 front windows (36”x72”). I’m looking for a heat/sun deterrent without using blackout curtains. Sun starts at 5am! I have used white vinyl roll up shades outside for years but the wind has been wrecking havoc with the last few blinds. Had to remove & trash brand new blind last week.

I use 3M film tinting on most of my client's windows and my own. Cuts down fading by 97% and heat build up. Saves on HVAC bills and protects flooring, furniture etc. Get an estimate from you local co. Google 3M window tinting in your area. The residential kind is almost clear, not dark like on cars.
On outside, adding an awning could also help. Inside, draperies, would also help, don't need black out lining, just reg lining. Adding sheers will difuse the light.

Hello there,
Use a Film on the inside of the windows or Venetian Blinds, Roller Blinds, Shutters (indoor or outdoor) , Awning, Canopy, Heavy Curta or in, Sun Umbrella. Hope that helps!
