Use an outdoor spray primer first. The an outdoor spray paint in your color. Hope that helps. I will be handy under the Lanai. Sounds beautiful.

I've used Lauren's idea of salt, vinegar and baking soda. Works well with elbow grease {scrubbing.}

I have used it. It works but you may need to reapply a couple of times to remove all the paint. Do wear protection and follow the directions.

Try looking for a replacement door at a Habitat for Humanity restore. Take your exact measurements of your old door. Turn the old door into a table top, or paint and lean to hold a shelf and photos. Attached a large mirror to the old door and lean. Add additional trims and molding to the old door, then paint everything one color. Best of luck.

I need affordable kitchen cabinet knobs - we have 55 knobs!

Our kitchen has 55 knobs on drawers and cabinets. They can't be overly large and definitely not expensive. They don't have to match but be similar.
