Very small bathroom

How about a cabinet behind the toilet? I have one in the full bath and it works better than shelves. Any wall cabinet will work.

I'd agree that a wall-mount shelf could work or cabinet behind the toilet -- or maybe a small shelf under the sink!

Yooooooooou don't bump your head when you get up from the toilet? And the metal ones look rickety-unstable. Where did you get yours?

Thanks, but the sink isn't in the same room as the toilet. Its hard to explain. Many FL homes have a small room with the tub and/or shower and vanity/sink, then a much smaller room in that room, like a bathroom stall, with just the toilet. That's what we have.

I had the same problem, then got a great idea from my sister that she used: a wicker basket with a lid. It looks good too!

I've always loved the idea of shelves built in between the wall studs!

It doesn't take up any more room than what you already have, and it just looks neat!

@Leslieb127 Thank you! I'm off to Home Goods, bed, bath&beyond, etc, to find an inexpensive basket with a lid, great solution!

HomeGoods has a lot of pretty cabinets that go over the toilet and aren't too big. We installed one in our upstairs bath a few years ago and it holds tp, etc.

The toilet is against the wall. I don't know how I could hang a cabinet behind it. Over it, maybe, but not behind it.

Is it possible to place a shelf over your door, in between the space between the door frame and ceiling? I'm not sure how high your ceilings are, if you can a cute basket could hold the fem supplies and the tp could set out on the shelf itself.

Yes, there is room for a shelf over the door, I'm just not sure we'd be able to reach supplies when we need them.(only my husband could-he's 6 ft tall., but my daughters and I are 5 ft.
