Shabby to Chic Rocking Chair Makeover

Somebody was throwing this rocking chair away, and thankfully my husband was there to save it! I had been looking for a couple rockers for my front porch and was very pleased when he brought this one home! Because I had the paint and the burlap from previous projects, this makeover didn't cost me a thing!
I gave it a quick wash, and two coats of paint black paint.
Great condition but not very pretty!
I then covered the chair in cotton batting and some leftover chevron burlap that I had from a previous project.

I love this Chevron Burlap material. So trendy and cheap!
All done!
I love how it came out! It now sits happily on my front porch!
