Hello! I wanted to share a peek into our remodel of our dining room. It's still in progress as we need to still add light fixtures, outlet covers, new back door, painted trim, and the white washing of the fireplace. But....LOL, I have managed to put together most of it with thrifted and repurposed pieces into a look I like to call Prairie Boho. You can check out my blog for the full post

All my baskets have been thrifted.
The table in front of the window is a VERY OLD ironing board. I had bought it on an impulse but when I redid the dining room I felt it would be perfect to sit in front of the window for the cats perch (LOL), my thrifted lamp and vintage books. I found the Orange velvet chair at Meals on Wheels for $50.
I have been wanting one of these clear jugs forever. I almost purchased one at T.J. Maxx but I found this beauty at Goodwill for $3.25, pretty good score if I do say so myself.
I repurposed our dining table we bought a few years back at Sam's Club of all places. It was really dark and drab so I brightened it up with some chalk paint. I wanted a very rustic feel to it.
My dad built and stained the rustic mantle for our fireplace. The shawl, prints, and pottery is all thrifted.
