Our large sofa, while well made and solid, needed to be neutralized and tie in better with our décor. I removed the bottom cushions and started the draping process for the back cushions (attached to sofa) and to drape down the backside since the back is exposed. The material I used was canvas drop cloths.
Here is the backside after draping. I love canvas drop cloth. I washed and dried each one in the washer and dryer prior to using. I used three 9' x 12' - no seams!
I love this brand at the Home Depot. It looks like linen fabric and is the perfect Greige color (gray-beige).
The pillow covers were purchased at Hobby Lobby with details on my blog.
Here she is all covered up. For details on tucking and wrapping to get her pretty, head on over to my blog for this and more Money $aving tips: http://extraextrablogallaboutit.blogspot.com/2015/11/money-aving-mondays-11162015-edition.html
The time it took to neutralize our sofa = 30 minutes. This does not include wash and dry time of the canvas. By the way, this is NO SEW!

KKAbsherwrites on Nov 19, 2015Gammiemame - I said in the post ( my blog or HT) that I ran out of drop cloths so I used a linen sheet that was a similar color on the cushions until I can get another drop cloth.
