Repurposed Wooden Blind
by
Fiona Loper
(IC: homeowner)
in the process of renovating a century old house. the wall behind the back door had seen better days.
the wall before, complete with hole. the plaster is the original plaster and whilst i didnt want to replace it, i also wanted to add some kind of surface that was tougher than the plaster because it is in such a high traffic area.
i pulled a wooden venetian blind apart and nailed the slats to the wall. it toughens the wall up for traffic and is a lot more appealing than a plain old painted wall
