Marion Nesbitt on Jan 19, 2016What you have is very nice. I would place an extra pillow under the bedcover so the large accent pillow is better supported.Helpful Reply

Karin From B'ham on Jan 19, 2016You're almost there, but the "paradise" pillow doesn't work. The bed, aqua paint color and bedspread coordinate well. Bring in another color or two (coral or a pink, perhaps yellow or a tangerine are all good with aqua) for some accents such as in the fabric of a throw pillow or throw on the end of the bed. Find a way to reinforce the aqua elsewhere in the room, perhaps in a darker tone. Your room has good bones. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Janet Pizaro on Jan 19, 2016If you are planning to keep the exsisting bedding you can buy a small quilt or blanket with a variety of color and accessorize with toss pillows,Helpful Reply

LD on Jan 19, 2016The chenille bedspread goes great with the vintage iron bed. The current pillow and throw at the foot of the bed don't go with the room or vintage bed. Replace those standard size bed pillows with a queen size pillows so there's continuous height across the bed; get different size/shapes of fabric vintage looking throw pillows to go along with the chennille pillow; and add a vintage lap quilt that goes with the wall color. Take an index card with you that has been painted with the wall color in your hunt for those pillows and lap quilt. You have tall ceilings, so you might want to install canopy from the ceiling out to about 3 feet from the wall so as not to interfere with the ceiling light. If there is room at the foot of the bed a vintage bench/cedar chest would also look nice, and you can store the extra bed linens and pillows there.Helpful Reply

Rae on Jan 19, 2016I'm with Janice on this one. Maybe it is my age showing but I love the look of a colorful comforter with a dust ruffle on a vintage looking bed. Pick out a color in the comforter and go with that for your accessoriesHelpful Reply

Pamela Pianfetti on Jan 19, 2016You can always drape a vintage runner across the bed, near the foot, for accent. Change it out with the seasons. Pretty headboard! I like the white bedspread with the color of the walls and headboardHelpful Reply

Taffetal on Jan 24, 2016Simplicity in color and pattern! Because you have lots of detail in the headboard, your lampshade, and other "shabby chic" decor in your room, I would definitely go with simplicity - clean and bright (cream or white) sheets and bed cover maybe with a wooly pale blue throw at the foot of the bed. A bedroom too busy with frills and curleyques is NOT relaxing and labor intensive.Helpful Reply

Lisa House on Jan 25, 2016Chenille in white, quilt or afghan folded across the foot of the bed. Just the two bed pillows. Your sheets should be in a plain soft color or white, can be textured but I would avoid busy patterns. This is my opinion and how I make up my original Jenny Lind bed. Have fun!Helpful Reply
