Is there a way to edit my post so I can correct spelling and syntax?

I did a lousy job proof my post before I posted it. Is there a way for me to correct those errors.

Hi Sara! You can edit by going to the post, selecting the upper-right drop arrow and clicking "Edit post." Let us know if you have any other questions!

I tried that but the drop arrow asks if this article is spam. I see no way to edit

The only edit I could fin was an edit to edit comments. Not an edit for the original article.
