MN Mom on Mar 10, 2016If they are cotton you could easily dye them and use them for a shower curtain, table cover, duvet, pillow covers or offer them to a relative for them to decide how to use.Helpful Reply

Mary Insana on Mar 10, 2016Cut some wide strips, about 4 inches wide and sew them on bath towels along the woven design of the towel for a quick classy look. You can sew them on colored towels too. Make a table runner. If you use protective glass on any of your furniture, cut a piec of the curtain and place it under the glass for a different look. Fold over the lace and sew 3 sides, along one side sew a 2 inch hem to pull a long shoestring or piece of ribbon. Use it as a laundry bag for things like socks, underwire and bras.Helpful Reply

Elaine Simmons on Mar 10, 2016If you really can't think of anything to make with them, you could use them as a stencil to paint furniture. Lay it over the top and sides of your piece of furniture to be painted and spray paint. Make sure you have the color you want the furniture painted and then use the spray paint. Makes a really elegant and beautiful affect.Helpful Reply

Cilla Meintjes on Mar 11, 2016I have recently changed my lace curtains and could not get myself to throw the old ones out, so I cut them into smaller pieces big enough to make a table Net. I then added some different lace on the edges. Once the tables are laid it is wonderful to cover the table with netting. Also the smaller pieces worked for Tea Trays. Just a thought.Helpful Reply

Sandra on Mar 11, 2016If you sew and you have siblings and children, you could cut them up and make Christmas tree skirts. That way everyone has something of your mom's. My sister did this with my dad's hundreds of neckties. She didn't take all the ties, but enough. She made a circle and placed them tie, space of tie, tie, space of tie, etc. all,the way around. We all got one the Christmas after he passed away. I use it under my small tree and it gives me a wonderful feeling as thigh he is with me, just a little, each Christmas. I bet your family would feel the same way if you did something like that.Helpful Reply
