Do the herbs keep their flavor when dried this way?

I usually dry herbs by hanging them on a drying rack in my kitchen and they retain their flavor very well. Do micro-dried herbs also maintain their flavor?

I think one potential drawback to microwave drying is that, unless the herbs are completely dry when you put them in the microwave, you might cook them rather than dry them. I use a dehydrator, at times. Never had much luck with the nuker
