Plant identification help!

Does anyone know what kind of plant this is? It was given to me as a gift but with no information about it. It looks like some sort of peace lily but I'm not sure. It is huge, though. I also want to know if it needs to be divided and/or replanted. #houseplants #gardenadvice

It is about 4 feet high and has large leaves.
gorgeous leaves....very shiny.
The base of the plant is secured so I wonder if it's going to completely flop once I take this ribbon off. Also, there is not much room for other plant stalks in this pot.

Yes Peace Lily it is! Put it by a window or sliding glass door. Water it once a week. Feed it once a month. :) Don't put it in direct sun. It will burn it up!

peace lily,yes... we received one when my father passed and i put it in a small restroom at work w/ only old florescent light... watered when droopy,pruned dead leaves sometimes,was able take it home 5 years later when i retired!!! not a needy plant

Peace lily does well in low light. Likes to be divided if it grows out of the pot. then you have a 2 plants or one to gift to a friend. Peace!

You can help it bloom by putting pieces of sliced apples around the base of the plant, when it rots it emits a gas that helps it bloom :)

It is a spathiphylum. They like low light and water and to be root boundroot bound

It is a Peace Lily. It needs to be root bound to FLOWER! I have two and they got morning sun and scorched. I moved to low light all shade and they are doing wonderful. About 7 blooms on each plant.

I have 2 large ones on my porch, love them but I also have 2 pots of small ones that I put in my shaded fern/rock garden. They have been loving all this rain we have gotten lately!
