Give Your Old Halloween Decor an Easy "face Lift"

I confess Halloween is not my favorite holiday. I really enjoy making holiday decor, and some of my Halloween projects are my most popular projects. I sometimes struggle to feel it though, you know? My kids love the creepy, spooky Halloween stuff. And I do most of it for them anyway, but sometimes I just want prettier spooky things haha.
I found this singing skull on Halloween clearance a few years ago after the holiday. He was $2! It made me laugh because he sings "I ain't got no body." I found that hilarious, and so do my kids. So I brought it home, and it gets taken out every year. But it's so UGLY. Skulls aren't pretty... I decided this year that I was tired of looking at him. He needed a "face lift"
There aren't many things that can't be painted. Plastic holiday decor CAN be painted, easily! So all it took to update that ugly singing mug was a little bit of paint! I love this Dazzling Metallic paint, especially the copper.
I used a pretty "Peacock Pearl" Turquoise color for the eyes and nose. Only two coats were needed. Look at the shine!
I think he looks a lot better now! Not bad for a $2 clearance skull huh? He still sings, of course, which I think is even better now!
