Lantana; great for butterflies. Thrive in
poor soil and sun here in So Florida.
I have a Lantana tree that is probably 10 years old. It doesn't get bigger because I cut it back in the Fall. It blooms inside for several months and then I trim it way back. It starts new leaves almost immediately and looks so pretty all Winter. It will start blooming in the Spring and then when I take it out again, it will produce beautiful flowers all Summer. I understand you can grow a tree from a short plant by trimming the side branches and being patient. I bought mine as a mini-tree so haven't had experience. I can only have so many trees inside!!!
