are you a gardener? Remove the bottom and you have a cloche for your garden. Of course you can always plant a terrarium in one . Use battery operated fairy lights inside and you have outdoor lighting to hang or place on table.
Wow, so many great ideas on pinterest. You're right. Wish we did recycle glass in Arkansas. I understand we don't recycle plastic bottles. You can put them in a curbside recycle box but they still end up in a landfill.

Find someone who owns a glass kiln and they can "flatten" the wine bottles. They make attractive cheese boards or snack displays at a buffet-type get together. This can be done with most any type of bottle but Grey Goose Vodka bottles are expecially nice to melt down . The lady who melts my bottles charges $20/bottle. Tiy bever jbiw xactly how they will turn out but I've given many of these for gifts. This shows how some bottles turn out depending on the mold the person uses.....

I would use some of them to water my plants; fill them up, put them upside down in the soil, (neck of the bottle 5-7inches deep) then the water gets out only when the soil gets dry, the plant takes the water they need. It works well for me! Also you can do some nice pendant lamps, just cut the bottom and paint them different colors. Cheers!
