Update Kitchen Cabinet Doors On A Dime!

We recently moved into my late-grandmother's house that we are renovating. The kitchen renovation isn't quite complete, but I could hardly wait to share the progress! I discovered that the original hardware is copper, so I decided to go with it. I trimmed out the doors to give them extra dimension. I LOVE how this small change along with a new paint job totally transformed this cottage kitchen!

Have to redo my cabinets, how did you restore the hardware. Mine used to be copper (1955) now it is black. Thx u, you did an amazing job. So far I have painted and lined the inside of my cabinets, next the outside.

Love your new looking cabinets and hardware. Who would of known underneath the black hinges were beautiful copper. We found out the hard way. I cleaned our hardware, painted inside cabinets and lined. Husband is painting outside cabinets. This makeover all started with wanting to replace old plastic inserts which we had on a few cabinets. So much fun to fix things up, I don't want to stop. Thank you everyone for your great ideas.
