I use baking soda and powdered sugar in equal amounts dry, look for entry areas and a generous sprinkle. They come in from out doors, I find anthills or trails near foundation of house and leave a heaping 1/4 cup. A day or so and they are gone. None of your pets ,children or wildlife threatened. EZ low cost EFFECTIVE.

(Old HOuse) When I found them coming in under frontdoor I sprinkled cinnamon.

Grow peppermint plants and put them everywhere the ants are coming in your house. Spiders and ants will leave in a hurry. They simply can't stand peppermint.

Put peppermint oil on facial sponge. Take outlet covers off and rub oil around the outlet area. Put covers back on. Pest control guy told us the ants follow the electric wires in the house. Hope this helps.

Wel had black ants and another year little black spiders in our mailbox. Each time I put a couple of drops of peppermint oil in the back of the box and it was 😁 to see the ants and spiders race out of the box! I used the cheap stuff from Walgreens or grocery store, no sense wasting the good essential oils. Good luck!

Use baby powder. Lightly sprinkle where you see the ants. After a few days, they will be gone. You will see them walking in circles instead of a straight line. For years my mother had tiny ants coming in to her kitchen. I took the powder and ran a line where ants was visible. After 2 to 3 days, they were gone for good and no harmful chemicals used.

  • packaged cornbread mix that says it is sweetened and put it where they are coming in if you can find it, or even on your counter in a small lid. They will take it to the mound, everyone will eat it and die, they can't digest the cornmeal, but will take it because it is sweetened. Little goes a long way.
