What are chances my passion flower vine will come back?
We did not have a bad winter. It has dried up. It covered the arbor last year. This plant is new to my garden.
It appears to be a annual maybe fouroclocks. Photo could be a little closer perhaps.
Am SURE it is Bindweed. Invasive, wraps around anything verticle and kills it. Roots are underground runners and is a perineal. Pulling it only adds to the problem. I had tried everything on the market and could not kill it.
my first thought was 4 o'clock. They are annuals but Will re-seed themselves and come back every year
I think it's 4 o'clock, I have this plant in my yard. I bought it as a perennial.
Darcy Colorado
I agree with Sharon. I have this in my backyard and it's very hard to kill. It wraps around everything. You need to pull it because cutting it does absolutely no good. It can be killed but the solution is very toxic and you need a permit to use it. Good luck!
4 O'clocks, annual.
Bind weed is a vine.
We call it creeping Charlie. Don't know why it got that name but it did and it is the worst to get rid of. Beglad it died. It has gotten into my old garden and killed some of the plants by over growing them.
The fushcia and white blooms are four oclocks. The paler pink top left corner of bottom pic looks like a zinnia. Bindweed has purple or white blooms and is obviously a vine. Fours oclock are bushy plants, they do not vine.
