what about framing them, either alone or in groups and making a collage on the wall?
add them to a flower arrangement,or use a grapevine wreath and mix them in with artificial flowers.
I like the frame idea
Wonderful ideas! Thanks everyone, I may use them in both projects!
You can display them in a glass jar or vase.
That is a great idea! I like the idea of putting them in a covered clear glass jar! Thanks!!
Well, as a nurse mother with grown up children, I would tell you that bird feathers can carry parasites. I like the idea of sealing them in a jar and then displaying them. Or you could also display them in a memory box with a glass cover.
Thanks Melissa! I also am aware of laws prohibiting the collection of certain types of feathers! Thanks so much for responding!
Hello, I have several feathers and I placed them in a clear nice container that I am planing to fill up with blue turquoise gem stones, also I pick up a nice internet peacock picture, I printed 8x 10 and glue it in a canvas and seal it. Then I attached small blue gem in every eye feather. The canvas looks amazing. It reflects the sunshine. By the way there is not law where I live !
Sounds amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your idea!
I have a pretty large collection of feathers, nothing as grand as Flamingo feathers though, as I just pick mine up in my area. I always wash them as soon as I get them. I have two stone ware urns that I fill with sand and stick the feathers in that. I put them on my mantelpiece or front porch shelving. Keep collecting, they are a wonderful decorative accent, are free and very useful
