I have used attractive , highly colorful removable decals on sliding doors to keep the bird from hitting the doors. Also, wind chimes close to the doors help due to constant movement. Hope this helps!
In zoos when they get new birds the paint zigzags on the glass until the birds learn that there's a barrier there. You might try that for a little while to see if it helps. Anything that can make the window seem solid will work too. (Curtain, blinds, etc.)
Perhaps hang old CD's inside the door so they see a reflection?
