There is no easy way to get rid of the ivy. First pull as much as you can out along with it's runners. Then cut the rest of it back. Ivy leaves are kind of waxy so they won't be affected by glyphosate (Roundup). After cutting it back spray the remains with glyphosate. That should kill it down to the roots. But ivy is hardy and you may see it popping up again. That's when you keep pulling it out. A thick layer of mulch will also help retard it's reappearance. Good luck! Pull, pull and pull again . Get as much as you can each time and eventually most will be gone. It's so invasive and stubborn . It really takes years. Every Spring, be sure to get out there again .

WEED Killer!!!! AN pull it up as much as you can!!!
This is just the thing! I find this works wonderfully. You have to cut down the ivy and then brush this on the top of where you cut it. Bonide
