Caring for Orchids
They like lots of light and hardly any water. They are air plants and need really good drainag.
Also, in addition to lots of sun.. they seem to do better in a more humid environment than a dry one.. Also the less fussing with them the better.
once a week, put 2 or 3 ice cubes on the soil. I've done this for several years and it works
We do the ice cube thing with our orchids too! Works like a charm!
Once a week, I give it a good misting. My house is on the dry side, so this is especially important as they like a humid environment.
