What plant can be planted near sump pump drain, very wet area?
I have the area that the sump pump sprays water from the basement. This area stays extremely wet and I need a plant that will grow in very wet area.
Can you get St. Augustine? It's pretty delicate, but grows well in Texas shade. Whatever you do, do not use weed killer on it. That's the voice of experience speaking.
Have you tried redbuds. They do great in Missouri under other trees.
We have a coastal grass mix here that does well in Oregon. Check with your local nursery for best strains.
