I have a small Hill in my back yard, need direction😀

I have known people that have sprinkled crushed red pepper seeds around you can buy the large containers in the dollar store it works for several weeks then re apply that's about the only safe method I know. Good luck,

Cayenne pepper or chili powder. One sniff and they'll remember. May need to reapply. Won't hurt the cats or plants.
Cats don't like citrus or coffee smell. I also use critter ridder, and mulch with something they can't dig in, like pine bark nuggets.
As above pepper is good, also ask your local coffee shop for old grounds (bonus it is also a good fertiliser)
Killing cats would or should never be an option. Deterring them is.
