Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
Be sure to suit up properly ( gloves and make sure you're completely covered!!) Try pulling the plants. This may be the best way to be rid of poison ivy since it works fast and you can see immediate results. Interestingly, there are some people who are virtually immune to the allergic effects of poison ivy. If you happen to have a friend like that willing to help you — lucky you!
Thanks Hillela. The process is one I'm truly dreading but need to do. Would love to find that friend who has no problem with poison ivy. Take care.
I would mow the whole mess as short as possible and dispose of that carefully. Now you can see to dig out the poison ivy very carefully. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Hopefully you can get it done quickly!
Thanks for the reply. It's a good idea to mow it down. That should make it easier to 'weed' out the leftover parts.
