Use different size and colored planters.
If you live on the first floor, I'd use those planter boxes that you put on the railing. I love those! If not, I'd hang three hanging baskets. Depending on how much sun you get, select that type of flower basket. So pretty!
If it is a small area, keep to a simple color palette. Containers are your best bet.
Hi Cori! That's what I meant, just re-read my response and it was all whackadoo! Yes, those boxes on the railings of a balcony are really pretty I think. If you hang anything, or even on the patio floor, keep them in 3's. It's looks cohesive that way, always odd numbers. Take a picture when you're finished and send it!
